NexGoal recently placed former professional hockey player James Burichin in a new role with one of their established corporate clients, rounding out a successful stretch for the specialized recruitment firm.
Burichin, a four-year standout at Niagara University, wrapped up his professional hockey career with the Texas Brahmas hockey club of the Central Hockey League (CHL). The Strongsville, OH native served as the player representative on behalf of his teammates for the Professional Hockey Players Association (PHPA), negotiating the 2012-13 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Throughout Burichin’s playing career, he worked in several sales and maintenance roles during the offseason, building a great platform to begin his new career. Combined with his degree in marketing and the competitive drive that he possessed, NexGoal was able to market him to their client, a leader in the construction industry.
